I just want to bitch about something.

I'm not a real animator, ok. I know that. STOLI isn't a flash animation, it's not even really "animated", but it's still art. I hate flash. I watch a lot of flash cartoons and use flash because it's what's used in EVERYTHING but overall, I hate flash and I hope it dies a horrible painful death, like a grandmother being pushed down the stairs then run over by a car that for some reason is driving through the living room. Then the house catches fire. Then bears eat them. I hope that happens to flash. Every single fucking ad I see online is made in flash and they slow down my fucking browser, and I can't do a single damn thing because they just freeze everything to a crawl. I get a frame a second because of flash ads, and they're always flash ads for things like "Shoot the baby, win an iPod!". Well, if you're hoping that I'd shoot a baby just for an iPod, then you have to rethink your strategy, because that's terrible. Now, if it was for a Lexus...we may be in business here.

Overall, I just want flash to go away. I want us to all convert to something better, some easier, something that doesn't fucking kill my browser. And what sucks is that I use tabs, and I have about 6 or 7 open at a time. Facebook, e-mail, music, blog or whatever else, and when my browser crashes because of your stupid flash animation ad, guess what? It doesn't save my tabs! So I lose everything that's open, which REALLY sucks if it's stuff I've only just discovered and haven't bookmarked yet!!

We need to switch folks. That's all I gotta say.

Things I'm currently working on:

STOLI: A full length animated film that is written, colored, drawn, shot, edited and directed by myself. This will take a while, so don't expect to see too much right away, but you can view the teaser trailer on the front page or my youtube. Voice cast list will be posted as soon as I get some folks on board.

SHORTS: So last year Nathan and myself worked on some shorts, like "The Nathan Policy" and "Abstain" and we're going to continue that sometime before or after Christmas. We'll see what comes from it.

TSHIRTS: I'm starting to make some Tshirts. Let you see some designs as soon as I'm finished.

News For 01/29/10

So yeah, "Fly on the Wall" went on haitus today.

Not stopping it, I just need a break. Doing a blog daily for 2 years and 3 months straight (nearly) is a REAL killer and I have other projects that demand my total concentration. Hopefully it won't be for too long.

Horrible People schedule has changed and it will now be a two episodes a month deal.

FEBRUARY Episodes 15 & 16
MARCH Episodes 17 & 18
APRIL Episodes 19 & 20
MAY Possible finishing of 20, as it IS decidedly longer and more complex than the others.

Hopefully that works out. I am starting a podcast with some of the people from work, so look for that, and hopefully mine and Matt's will be back on the table soon enough. As of right now, that's all I've got on the gameplan (that I'm letting YOU know about) so thanks for your support, and keep on truckin'.

Dear god, please tell me I didn't just say that seriously and that it was an irony thing.

Well, Episode 14 of HP is completed and will be up tomorrow hopefully, ran into an editing issue at home and have to do it at the office, but w/e. As far as what else is up, we've also got a new podcast started with the crew of Becca's wall, so that'll be fun. Also, I'm writing a new project to be made possibly after HP completes at ep 20, so we'll see what happens.

Episode 15 of HP entitled "Assault" begins next Monday, and it'll be the last ep to be shot before the winter break. There will also be a Becca's Wall short the week after entitled "Secret Santa" and we may start our podcast next week too or tomorrow, not sure.

The next project I am writing is entitled "For Your Consideration", so we'll see what happens.

Here's what's happening currently:

*Horrible People Episode 14 "Hook" airs Monday
*Horrible People Episode 15 "Assault" airs in 2 weeks
*Currently Writing Episodes 17-20 of Horrible People
*Becca's Wall Christmas Short entitled "Secret Santa"

That's really about it. Horrible People will more than likely stop production until AFTER Christmas and then start back up after the new year with Episodes 16-20. Check the main HP website for all those updates. Also, new podcasts are airing regularly now (FINALLY) and at my blog I'm currently writing a full length rant to be uploaded in PDF format once it's finished. I hope to have it done by my 500th entry which should be the same monday Ep 15 of HP airs. The long entry is entitled "Personal Agenda."

Here's what's going on this week at Becca's Wall:

*Episode 13 of "Horrible People" entitled "Innocence" will be released tomorrow.
*Episode 14 of "Horrible People" entitled "Hook" will be starting production of Wednesday.
*Myself and a few others (unsure as of exactly who right now) are doing Season 1 audio commentary for the next couple weeks.
*A new Becca's Wall short will hopefully be out on Friday, and will continue every week on Fridays.
